The new Artusi Island becomes a true unique ‘outdoor’ kitchen, like every Arclinea product, conceived and presented as a real space - a kitchen for living and using. Artusi (designed by Antonio Citterio 1999), in its main free-standing version, is still today the perfect synthesis of design, ergonomics and function.
Created after the success of Italia (designed by Antonio Citterio 1988), the first kitchen to take professional catering criteria into the home kitchen, the essentiality and compactness of Artusi takes credit for what is perhaps the best example of professional cuisine, thought up and translated into the home setting.
The new Artusi island ‘Outdoor’ project meets all the specific requirements of its kind with special solutions and materials:
• Okoumé marine plywood carcass, perfect for outdoor areas, it offers a good thermic isolation
• 316L Stainless steel (Low Carbon + Molybdenum) covering: resistant to the sea environment
• Thermal base unit, with deep drawers for thermal storage of food and drinks
• Magnetic seals, for the doors: to guard against seepage and insects
• Barbecue in 316L stainless steel, gas operated, available in a variety of solutions.
